Guy Carpenter’s Donald Mango and Jessica Leong Elected to the Board of the Casualty Actuarial Society
Guy Carpenter announced that Donald F. Mango, Vice Chairman and Head of Enterprise Analytics, and Jessica Leong, Lead Casualty Specialty Actuary, have been elected to the board of directors of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
Mr. Mango and Ms. Leong were elected to three-year terms on the society’s 18-member board of directors, the governing body of the Arlington, Va.-based organization. They have been active members of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) for several years. Mr. Mango previously served on the CAS board of directors from 2005 through 2008 and held the position of Vice President of Research. Ms. Leong currently serves as chairman of the society’s casualty loss reserve seminar program committee.

The stated mission of the CAS is to advance actuarial science through a singular focus on research and education for property/casualty actuarial practice. Among its 5,800 members are experts in property/casualty insurance, reinsurance, finance, risk management, and enterprise risk management. CAS members are employed by insurance companies, educational institutions, ratemaking organizations, state insurance departments, the federal government, and independent consulting firms.
