By 2030, the number of employees in the global workforce aged 50 to 64 is projected to increase by 15 percent to 30 percent. The issue is particularly pressing given that 50 percent to 80 percent of tasks done by experienced workers are at high risk of being replaced by new technologies, according to a recent report from Guy Carpenter’s parent company Marsh & McLennan.
